I have recently purchased a 10-year-old property, and a pre-purchase building report has identified a potential leak in the first-floor shower recesses (2x) noting that the waterproofing membrane may have failed or there could be an underlying plumbing issue. Specifically, there is visible evidence of water penetration on the ceiling directly below the shower area on the ground floor.
