Find an experienced plumber in Mount Lawley

Hi, we had the boiler replaced a few months ago, and initially the water was getting very hot. However, recently the water hasn’t been getting hot enough

Tap is coming off and Leaking needs tightening

The downstairs toilet cistern is constantly running due to a crack in the float/fill mechanism. The upstairs toilet water supply tap is leaking badly. I believe the tap itself needs replacing. In addition, the toilet will often continue filling even after adjusting the float arm, causing the cistern to overflow into the bowl. The upstairs drain pipe running through the garage is leaking at floor level. I have removed the upstairs tap and resealed the threads with thread tape; however, the leak appears to be coming from the tap handle itself rather than the threaded connection. At the moment, both toilets require the water supply to be turned on and off after each use. The upstairs toilet in particular leaks enough to create a large puddle on the bathroom floor for the short period the tap is on to fill the cistern.

The hot Water is delivered at 72 degrees when it should be about 54 deg. So it needs a service, replacement of part(s) if necessary and a check of the anode. Parts not included in budget on next line. The gas heater is a Rheem Stellar model 850330 new in mid 2018.

Remove the connection of taps and fitting so the tiler can complete tiling
