It’s to cover a hole made for range hood ductwork that is going to be removed. • Access via manhole to roof cavity from inside unit (no external roof access needed). • Must restore full fire-resistance level (FRL) per Australian Standards (AS 1530.4/NCC) using tested passive fire system + matching plasterboard reinstatement on underside. • Include photos, product data sheets, and compliance statement for strata AFSS. • No cosmetic finish required (just functional patch); I’ll paint later. Requirements: • Experience with strata fire-rated repairs (double Gyprock ceilings). • Provide tested system detail for this penetration size. • Public liability insurance + relevant certifications.
