Job Description: Seeking an experienced handyman or furniture restorer to clean, sand, and restore the following outdoor timber furniture items: - Two teak 3-seater couches and coffee table (clean, sand, and oil timber frames only – see attached photos) - One teak outdoor timber bench (clean, sand, and oil) - One large outdoor dining table (clean and sand, then apply a clear epoxy resin to the tabletop for a durable, protective, and cleanable finish) *Photos of the items are attached for your reference. Tasks Required: - Clean and prep all wood surfaces (remove dust, dirt, and any loose debris) - Sand all timber as needed to achieve a smooth finish and remove weathering - Oil the benches and couch frames after sanding with suitable outdoor timber oil - For the dining table: after cleaning and sanding, apply a clear epoxy resin on the tabletop to protect against weather and create a long-lasting, easy-clean surface (epoxy to be even, thick, and bubble-free, fully sealing the timber) - Protect surrounding areas from dust and drips Handyman to provide all materials and tools (oil, epoxy resin, cleaner, sandpaper, brushes, applicators) Must have experience with applying epoxy resin to timber furniture Please advise approximate time required for each step and for the whole job (including curing times for resin) Please advise proposed dates/times you’re available to complete the job Additional Notes: - Outdoor power and water are available on site - Must dispose of all rubbish and used materials - Please ensure all work areas are left clean and tidy - Price should be all-inclusive (labour & materials) - all furniture is easily accessible - Note curing times means the job would be completed over multiple days
