Project Overview: I am looking for a professional painter to prime and paint a brand-new rough sawn "Lap and Cap" timber fence with steel posts. The fence has just been installed and is approximately 60 metres long and 1.8 metres high. Scope of Work: • Preparation: Simple dust-off/blowdown (new timber) and cleaning of steel posts. • Priming: 1 x full coat of high-quality stain-blocking primer (essential for the white section to prevent tannin bleed). • Topcoats: 2 x coats of premium exterior acrylic. • Color Split: * Section A (Front): Approx. 20m in White (Low Sheen). • Section B (Back): Approx. 40m in Colorbond Monument (Low Sheen). • Steel Posts: To be primed and painted to match the timber sections. Requirements: • Must use an airless sprayer for even coverage on rough sawn timber. • Must provide a plan for overspray protection (near house/cars/garden). • Please specify if your quote includes the cost of paint or if you prefer me to supply it. • Please provide a rough timeline for completion. Ceiling in master bedroom approx 4x 5 and office/stairwell area 4 x 5. Ceilings are very high.

Clean and apply 2 topcoats ceiling white exterior, few posts need touch up and paint downpipe, surface area approximately 7m x 3 m, would prefer you look at the job first

Clean and paint very high cathedral ceiling in an open lounge/dining room. I suspect 2 coats of paint would be required to finish the job

I’m in the process of stripping the varnish off living room furniture and sanding to prepare for painting and it has become an enormous job. I need someone experienced in sanding to come help me. The amount I have put in is indicative, I’m happy to negotiate hourly rate. This job will not be finished in one day!
