We live in a decent sized townhouse with concrete/masonry floors that make it very hard for WiFi to penetrate, so there are several very weak WiFi zones. Attached is a floor plan with the location of the modem/router marked. The modem/router is a TP-LINK archer AX73. I would like to expand the WiFi network by hooking up an extension device on the top and bottom floors, and if possible also run an ethernet cable to the pc in the study (which is far from the router/modem). I have one TP-LINK wireless extender but that is not much use because there is no way to power it in the stairwell (where it can receive a decent signal). I feel like cables may need to run to extenders. Will need to budget for other extenders.

I’ve just moved into an apartment and need advice about how to set up my home network and connect to NBN. I work from home with my flatmate so the solution needs to allow for concurrent video conferencing. We currently have no network equipment.
