We want to be able to stop our letter box flap from opening fully, but still open enough for letters to be able to be slipped through. If possible, a couple of screws or bolts on each side of the flap should stop it from opening fully.

I have a combination key lockbox which needs to be installed into the back of my apartment letterbox. There is a wall directly behind the letterbox and I would like the lockbox to be drilled into the wall (not just glued on). Dimensions of letterbox opening is about 22.5W x 12H.
