Dear Installer, I would like to request the following work under the Victorian Energy Upgrades (VEU) program: Project Requirements: Supply and install two reverse cycle split system air conditioners under the VEU plan. Each unit should be suitable for a room of approximately 15m². Installation must fully comply with electrical safety requirements, including circuit protection (RCBOs) if required. A certified electrical safety check must be carried out as per VEU guidelines. Remove and disconnect the existing ducted gas heater system safely and in compliance with relevant regulations. All installation work must be carried out by properly licensed professionals, including: A-Class electricians (registered with Energy Safe Victoria) ARC-licensed refrigerant handlers Important note: The property currently already has three air conditioning units installed, with input powers of: 1.79 kW 2.16 kW 0.82 kW Please consider this when assessing total electrical load and confirming if the current switchboard (see attached image) is adequate or requires upgrade. Budget Constraint: My budget is around $3,000 AUD total (out-of-pocket, the final price could be negotiated based on the practical solution and condition), including all associated costs (air conditioners, installation, electrical work, gas heater removal, etc.). You are welcome to claim the VEU rebate directly from the Victorian Government; this budget refers solely to my personal financial contribution.
