I just need to have a curtain rod installed in our bedroom but I don’t have tools to do it. It’s dry wall so you’ll need to come prepared with the correct tools for that. There is a Bunnings nearby if you’d like to come and assess what you’ll need first.

We have double view blinds on 2 windows. They both have been woven all the way down and wont go up. One of the brackets has come away from the window frame.

This job is to install the hooks that will hold 2 x acoustic panels on the ceiling. Panels measure 1220x590. By the looks you'll need a large square as I don't have one to ensure they are straight. I have a laser that might work though haha. I have a tall ladder and a drill. The ceiling is about 2.6m. I can hang the panels easily enough as they are only 9kg. Instructions from the website are below. Just need someone with experience to help me mark out and install 8 hooks. 1. Measure and mark out along the ceiling from the wall where you would like a corner of your panel to be. 
Note: the panel will hang from chain at each corner of the product at the rear, see example image. 2. Measure and mark out again from the wall, 1210mm (long end) down from the first mark. Measure the distance between the two markings to confirm. This will be your second corner.
  3. If you have a laser line, point the line at the ceiling between the two markings, with the cross section at one of the marks (assuming it has a cross section). The lasers should be parallel with the walls.

If you don’t have a laser line, use a large square (with measurements on it) instead by holding the square in the same location.

  4. Measure out from the cross section your third corner at 578mm. 5. Move the laser or square to the third corner and repeat for the forth corner. Recheck the distance between all markings. You should have four marks in a rectangular shape a fraction smaller the size of the product.

  6. Drill a 5mm pilot hole for the four marked out holes into the plaster. If you hit a stud, you can screw the hook directly into it.

  7. Place the tip of the screw into the hole and screw in slowly until flush with the ceiling. 
If there is too much resistance, drill a larger pilot hole to avoid breakage.
