I’m looking for an experienced person to build/supply and install a ceiling manhole with a drop-down attic ladder in my home in Bertram, WA. The purpose is to provide safe and compliant access to the roof space for storage (non-habitable use). Scope of Work •Assess suitable location for ceiling access (likely garage) •Cut ceiling opening (gyprock/plasterboard) •Frame opening correctly to suit ladder (including trimming joists if required) •Supply and install a fold-down attic ladder (timber or aluminium – open to recommendations) I have received a quote from w builder of $1100 gst inc but hoping to find anyone that might be able to do the job for cheaper and provide a more competitive quote/price.
