I have a gentrax gtx3500 inverter generator. Its brand new and i cant start it. I have been in contact with the supplier and they are sending me a bunch of directions. But i dont know what a spark plug is or carburetor or how to empty fuel lines? I just conected the battery but may have done it wrong. The instructions and manual are going over my head. I would like someone to get it started and show me how.

Subaru motor to generator needs a service

I have a Ryobi 4000 W petrol generator which I purchased last year. It was run for a very short time last year and then not needed. I drained the fuel. I have re-fuelled it with new fuel and check lubricant. I can’t get it to start. I’m needing an experienced generator mechanic to come to my home and get it started so it will start if we need it in bad weather.

Generator not making spark

Task: Install new Generator wiring and connect to House at Yarrabilba 4207. Generator: Purchased. Need installation by a licensed electrician. dedicated inlet, transfer switch, and circuit protection. Electrical Task Requirements:- Install a 32A inlet box outside.- Wire a manual transfer switch. Scope of Works • Ensure compliance with AS/NZS 3000 wiring rules. • Suggest location of Generator – outside. • Use 32A cabling and breakers to match generator output. • Manual transfer switch (Generator is not ATS). Install at the main switchboard. Ensure that safe switching between grid power (Energex) and generator power. Ensure no dangerous back-feeding. • Install circuit breakers & RCDs (safety switches) if relevant (already installed as standard) • Wiring & cabling, heavy‑duty 6mm² or larger cabling for 32A inlet. Proper earthing to generator frame and house earth bar. Conduit for outdoor runs. Suggested wiring: Flow from the generator’s 240V output through a 32A (heavy‑duty cable) outdoor inlet box, into a manual transfer switch, into house breaker panel powering selected circuits. Electrical Compliance Required: Compliance with Australian standards - Licensed electrician required, experienced with wire transfer switches and inlets. - Certificate of Testing & Compliance must be issued after installation. - AS/NZS 3000 standards for wiring, earthing, and RCD protection.

Not sure what is wrong. Fuel or electrical

Supply and install the following; - Weatherproof 32A single phase inlet plug mounted on wall for generator connection (full house supply). -Generator changeover switch and overcurrent protection. - Changeover switch to select between normal and controlled load for Hot Water System (ie to allow HWS to run from Generator)

The outlet from the fuel tank has broken directly where the hole in the tank is I require replacement

install power point in meter box to connect generator during power outage, do not require connection for hot water, air-conditioning only essentials.

I’m looking to have a generator inlet socket and changeover switch installed at my home so I can safely connect a portable generator to my main switchboard during power outages.
