Looking for an experienced handyman, carpenter, or fencing contractor to build a timber fence on both sides of my property. Scope of work: Side 1: Approximately 1.90 metres long, including a timber gate for access in and out. Side 2: Approximately 5.70 metres long. Supply and install all materials required. Cement render small areas of wall near front gate.

A fence post that is usually secured to the neighbouring brickwork has come loose. The timber anchor point has disintegrated and needs replacing.

We currently have a garden gate with an internal bolt (pic attached). As I cannot reach this from the street in order to gain access to the garden, I’m looking for a slightly more secure lock to be installed lower down with a key. I've had high humidity for a while internally and noticed that the mortar on an external wall had some plants growing from it. When I pulled it out I saw the brick mortar was chalky white and crumbled out. I filled the hole with some sealant for a temporary solution but I noticed that it's leaking down the wall so wondering if there are other issues that need looking at. Sub floor seems a little damp in this section of the house but already has sun floor ventilation installed. Might need a roofer/plumbing expert too as this area has a kitchen and I've noticed the cupboards have a damp smell. Not sure if from the high humidity indoors or other damp issues - Due date: Flexible

We have a property which is soon to be demolished (in a month or so) with a wooden back gate in a masonry wall onto a street that keeps getting broken through by vandals. We have tried to block the gate from the inside but they have destroyed it. The task is for a handyman to barricade the gate opening as cheaply and strongly as possible (it does not need to function as a gate). Perhaps with plywood and structural timber.
