Gas Cooktop Burner Repair Needed One burner on our gas cooktop is not working properly. Looking for a repair service Issue: Burner ignites and produces flame only while the knob is pressed. Once the knob is released, the flame goes out immediately. All other burners are working fine.

Top right burner on Fisher and Paykel gas stove does not hold the fire after the knob is let go. It makes ignition sound and burns okay but just does not hold the flame even after holding the knob on all positions for a few seconds.

Gas stove has a hissing noise when turned off. When lighter, the burning will catch on fire.
