We've recently removed some carpet near our staircase and uncovered hardwood floorboards (approx. 1000mm x 1040mm). Unlike the rest of the hallway, this section hasn't been sanded or polished. We're looking for someone to sand back the wood, stain and finish (lacquer/deal/protect) this small area so it blends in with the surrounding floorboards as closely as possible. Installation of timber flooring

I need a skilled handyman or tradesperson to trim the bottom of 2 aluminum doors (Double Door) to create a 25mm clearance between the doors and the existing wooden floor. This is to accommodate new carpet and underlay being installed. The doors are made of extruded aluminum with glass inserts, and I want to preserve the glass. There are NO deadbolt latchs at the bottom of the door. The bottom of each door needs to be cut/planed down evenly, ensuring smooth operation after trimming. Please bring appropriate tools for cutting aluminum (e.g., aluminum saw, planer for metal). If you have experience working with aluminum doors and can handle precise trimming, please provide your availability!
