Room size: 3600 x 2680mm (~9.6 sqm) What’s included: All materials already purchased and on-site including laminate panels, skirting, and door cover strip. Underlay is already laid. No foam layer required. Scope of work: ∙ Cut and install laminate floating floor panels ∙ Install skirting boards ∙ Install door cover strip (1 door — bottom of door will need a slight trim to allow clearance) Bonus: Approx 200kg of mixed scrap timber (old floorboards, laminate, timber planks) is yours to take if you want it. Easy driveway access for loading. Otherwise just needs to be removed from site. Hi there, I’m looking for an experienced handy person or flooring installer to complete a laminate flooring job in my kitchen, dining room, lounge room and hall area approximately 70 sq metres in Katoomba NSW. Scope of works: Prepare subfloor (clean and level check) Move furniture as required to lay laminate (I can help with this) Install underlay (supplied) Install laminate flooring (approx. 70m², supplied) Install transition strips at doorways (e.g. laminate to carpet where applicable) Install scotia/trim to finish edges Areas: Kitchen Dining Lounge Small hallway Materials: Laminate flooring supplied (lightly used, only down for ~3 months, in good condition), 5G click lock system. Mostly lightly used but there are 2 boxes of brand new laminate. Underlay will be supplied. Scotia and transition strips - can be supplied by me, or purchased by you and I will reimburse costs. Building a composite deck myself but after someone to do the base

A number of the deck boards have come loose as the screws are no longer holding properly at the joining sections. I suspect the underlying support structure may not have been built with treated timber, which could be causing the issue. The job will involve: Securing the loose deck boards Replacing a couple of the support beams underneath with treated timber Looking for someone experienced in deck repairs who can assess and fix the issue properly. .

Ground Clearance: Ensure a minimum gap for airflow between the ground and timber to meet Australian standards for termite inspection and rot prevention. Decking Material: Contractor to suggest options: Hardwood: Spotted Gum or Merbau (highly durable, premium look). Composite: Low maintenance, rot-resistant (ideal for the damp/misty Blue Mountains climate). Treated Pine: Most cost-effective, requires staining. Fasteners: as recommended for the longevity of the structure, especially given the constant moisture from the spa. Conduits: Frame must allow for electrical and plumbing lines to be plumbed up through the sub-frame into the spa cabinet. Surface Drainage: Ensure the ground beneath the deck is sloped to prevent water from pooling under the timber structure. Access: Site is accessible by UTE. Sanding and initial oiling/sealing of timber (if using natural wood). Site Cleanup: Removal of all offcuts and construction debris.

Repair steps and stain deck and garden bed top finishes pictured

1 bedroom had a leak in the wall next to it and had to pull up carpet corner to dry out. Needt to put down nail strip and stretch carpet to fit. Also 2 X small pulls the need repairing.

Skirting boards to be cut, measured, and installed in 2 lounge rooms, dining room, kitchen, office, and 2 hallways. All works to be completed by Monday, 23/03/26.
