We want to install hybrid flooring over the existing tiles in the following areas of the home: Kitchen Hallway Living Room Media Room The bedrooms have already been completed, so this task only includes the remaining common areas. The goal is to achieve a consistent look and feel throughout the home using the same hybrid flooring.

Need the subfloor prepped and pre-purchased hybrid flooring installed including quarter-round to existing trims. Sheet vinyl has been installed previously. This will be removed by the installation date, however remaining glue will need to be removed and floor checked for leveling prior to installation. Space includes living/dining/kitchen and hallways for this job totalling approximately 60-70m2, however potential other work exists for 3 bedrooms. All furniture will be removed from these areas prior to installation. You must have your own tools, insurance etc. flooring and quarter round provided, if levelling is required you can either supply requirements or let me know what to collect from Bunnings or similar.

The polished timber floor has been scratched, in the same diameter over 5 boards as in the photo. Needs repairing.

This is just for 1 average sized bedroom. Summary of the jobs that need to be done: 1. Disassembly (partial) of bed and moved to another room - I will help with this 2. Removal and disposal of carpet and crap underneath, I can also help with this 3. Sanding and refinishing the floorboards and finding the correct stain and varnish to match the floorboards around the rest of the house. I will of course pay for the varnish and any materials needed for this. I also have random orbital sander if this helps. The part that I really need help with is refinishing the floorboards after the carpet is removed, and making sure the new varnish perfectly matches the other floorboards in the house.
