Electrical and smoke alarm safety check for 2 apartments - Blackburn and Mitcham

Fire from a pan got into the Rangehood and burnt through wiring. This has led to the circuit breaker blowing (MCB, audible pop and smoke on the second from the right fuse pictured when trying to switch back on, furthest to the right trips each time). Currently, not looking to replace Rangehood immediately, but do need the short circuit fixed to restore power to the house.
