Preparing the installation site
The moment you plan to install a new dryer, it’s important that your installation site is ready. Your Tasker will ensure all the connections and, depending on the type of dryer, the proper exhausts or vents should be ready and safe to use. Should there be any issues with vents, exhausts or electrical systems before your installation, you may need to get a handyman to have these checked.Â
Preparing your new dryer
Dryer installation technicians could also help you unbox your dryer if needed and check if there are any defects or damages if you’re not familiar. I need to get a new dryer under a recess and on top of washing machine. The washing machine needs to come out first as the beam In front blocks the dryer getting in. This is how I think it works. Washing machine comes out. Dryer is moved in but only held balancing on sink bench. Washing machine is slid in (needs some sort of sliders so not to damage stone floor) Dryer than adjusted on top of Washing machine. Happy to discuss a plan.

Repair Electrolux EDV6051 Update: added photo I got into the back and the belt wheel has melted and fallen off Motor still works, can rotate the drum manually by the drum doesn’t rotate when on. I assume it just requires a belt repair. Would love it repaired today as we use it A LOT.
