Wall 1 – Above the Cooktop (Wall length: 190 cm) • Install the following Kaboodle upper cabinets (Buttermilk colour): o 1 × 300 mm wide × 400 mm deep cabinet o 1 × 900 mm wide × 400 mm deep cabinet o 1 × 600 mm wide × 400 mm deep cabinet • All cabinets to have soft-close hinges and mushroom knob handles. • Install a 900 mm Schweigen undermount rangehood beneath the cabinets. • Duct the rangehood through the ceiling. • Please note that the wall has a bulkhead projecting forward: o Left side: 30 cm o Right side: 7 cm Wall 2 – Next to the Fridge (Wall length: 110 cm) • Install: o 1 × Kaboodle microwave cabinet o 1 × overhead cupboard above the microwave cabinet (600 mm wide) o 1 × 450 mm wide × 400 mm deep cupboard • Please note that the wall has a bulkhead projecting forward: o Left side: 20 cm • All cabinets to be Buttermilk in colour with soft-close doors and mushroom knob handles. • The new cabinets should match the style, colour, and finish of the cabinets installed above the cooktop. This stain was left after leaving a timber chopping board on top of the bench for a couple of weeks, it was exposed to sun, rain and all elements. Need the work to be completed before or by the 29th of June at the latest.

I’m looking for an experienced, careful tradesperson to install 3 wooden floating shelves. This job needs someone who can do a neat, accurate job, as the shelves will be installed on an old masonry wall made from hollow concrete bricks. The bricks are not solid all the way through — they have walls about 25mm / 1 inch thick around a hollow centre. The shelves will be cut from a leftover wooden benchtop measuring approximately 3600mm x 250mm x 30mm. The finished shelves need to be: * 2 shelves: 1000mm x 150mm x 30mm * 1 shelf: 800mm x 150mm x 30mm I will supply the Strongfix 90979ZP floating shelf brackets recommended by the Shelving Shop. I want 4 brackets per shelf for maximum strength. You will need to: * have a 12mm masonry drill bit * cut the shelves cleanly and accurately from the benchtop * measure and mark everything carefully * drill straight, accurate holes into the masonry wall * drill straight, accurate holes into the back of each shelf to fit the bracket rods * install the shelves level, secure and neatly finished. The Shelving Shop advised that the wall plugs need to be a nice tight fit into the 25mm wall thickness and that the holes must be drilled dead straight. I’m especially interested in someone with experience installing floating shelves, doing precise finish carpentry or similar work. Please only respond if you can achieve a clean, level, professional result. Examples of similar floating shelf or masonry installation work would be appreciated.

Hi Greg, following from our earlier conversation, I am looking to get the bedroom door (wooden) trimmed due to the slight change in flooring height and the bathroom roller door slightly raised on its rail for the same reason. Floorist said it's an easy task but a tradie should do it. Would these tasks fall under your expertise? This has been an unplanned development from the flooring installation and work is sending me away this weekend for a few weeks so the timeline regrettably is tight. Ideally Wednesday after 4pm would work best, but I can see what I can arrange for other days and times.

I have 6.5m of wall to cover with 4 x 2400mm x 1220mm 5mm Carbon flex mirror coated sheets. I will also have 2000mm x 600mm wood slat panels felt backed x 4 to be cut into strips and sections. Pretty straightforward application with cutting needed on premises in garage downstairs and brought up in the lift to glue onto the wall. Cut out of light switch and power point needed. Will need a jigsaw and a table saw for accuracy. Approx. 7 short end cuts and 1 x long edge cut plus Stanley knife single slat cuts. All glue provided and all materials are onsite ready to go.
