Wooden benchtop in kitchen needs to be sanded back, have small holes filled in, then re-lacquered (including benchtop 3.5cm edge). Benchtop is 330x67x3.5cm, however has a sink cutout (47x123cm) and cooktop (53x59cm) installed. Gap between wall and appliances is 8-9cm. Images attached. I'm happy to apply silicone seals myself however will consider it in an itemised quote. Ideally seeking for job to be completed as soon as possible.

Queen-to-King Wooden Headboard Extension & Table Re-attachment Task Description: Looking for an experienced carpenter or handyman to extend an existing dark wood, tiered headboard from Queen size (1590 mm) to fit a King bed (1900–2000 mm total width). Scope of Work: Build Extension Panels: Fabricate two 155 mm wide x 200 mm deep extension box panels (veneered MDF or birch plywood) with internal diagonal bracing. Hardware Alignment: Drill 11 mm bolt holes matching specific offset dimensions (94 mm horizontal, 51 mm top vertical, 298 mm spacing) to align with existing tee nuts on both the main headboard and bedside tables. Finishing: Sand, fill, and stain/paint the extension panels to match the existing dark wood finish. Assembly & Installation: Securely join extension boxes to the main headboard, re-attach side tables, and ensure the entire assembly is level and mounted securely.

Replace 3 Sets of French Doors Looking for a licensed carpenter/chippy to replace 3 sets of existing timber French doors, including the door frames. Scope of works: Remove and dispose of existing timber French doors and frames. Install 3 new double French door sets, including new frames. Ensure doors are level, square and operate smoothly. Fit existing/new hardware as required (can discuss). Finish with neat trims/architraves if required. Current opening: Approx. 1140mm (W) x 2100mm (H) Preferred new opening: Approx. 1300mm (W) x 2100mm (H), so the opening will need to be widened by around 160mm (subject to inspection and feasibility). Requirements: Licensed and experienced carpenter/chippy. Experience installing French doors. Happy to inspect and provide advice if any structural changes are required before quoting. Sand, fill & oil timber deck (36m²) Looking for an experienced deck sander/finisher to sand back, fill gaps/cracks where needed, and apply 2–3 coats of a high-quality oil/stain to merbau colour (e.g. Intergrain, Feast Watson, Sikkens or equivalent). Remove the bottom shelf from this box above our fridge. We have already tried and the complication is the top of the box has a small beam attached to it going across the top of the pantry. We couldn’t work out how to remove it.

Sand timber door and stain

Remove existing raised wooden (double bed) frame, basic rung ladder and closet. Currently attached to two walls and single support post at forth corner. Build / install new raised wooden (king single) bed frame and custom steps. Mattress base at an approximate height of 2.1m. New design is in a similar style to the previous, fixed to two walls and support post for the forth corner. Photo (original bed frame in a nursery room) and new design / measurements are attached. I have a kwila bottom deck (6 x 5m) that has starting showing signs of wood rot in some joists causing the planks to become bouncing and unstable in places. Most of the deck is still rock solid but the rotten joists happen to be in the most trafficked area leading straight out to the back yard. For now I just need the load taken away from these joists and to have them supported by some additional hardwood screwed in alongside and the planks screwed back in neatly. I'll likely replace the whole deck in a few years so don't need to over engineer this. Flexible with time and open to ideas :)
