I need a licensed electrician to replace an old electric cooktop and a rangehood in my kitchen with new appliances. Details: Existing cooktop: Old Westinghouse electric cooktop with knobs (already on a dedicated circuit). New cooktop: Bosch PXX695 (7.4kW / 32A) induction cooktop. New rangehood: Westinghouse 60cm Fixed White Rangehood WRF610WA. Scope of work: Disconnect and remove old appliances, install and wire the new Bosch cooktop and the new Westinghouse rangehood. Straight swap into the existing cutouts, no countertop cutting required. Ducting: Replace the old flexible ducting/pipe with new ducting for the new rangehood. Switchboard: May require upgrading the existing fuse/circuit breaker to a compliant RCBO to meet current AS/NZS 3000 standards for the new induction unit.
