I’m looking for a licensed gas fitter to replace my existing 90cm Smeg induction cooktop with a 90cm 5-burner gas cooktop. I’m not sure if there is an existing gas pipe/connection to the kitchen, so I need the tradesperson to inspect and advise. I've just had a new induction cooktop installed to replace an old gas cooktop, and the existing cutout in the stone benchtop is about 5mm too tight on one side. I need a stonemason (or anyone properly set up for on-site stone cutting) to trim that edge so the new cooktop drops in. I'm not certain whether the benchtop is engineered stone or natural stone - happy to send photos so you can tell me before you commit. Flexible on the time.I know this is a small job, so I'm happy to fit in around your other work - early, late, weekends, or as a filler between bigger jobs in my area. Just tell me what suits.

Install a gas cooktop. The existing cooktop is currently induction, but there is already a gas connection that has been capped off. The gas line will just need to be reopened and connected to the new cooktop. No benchtop cutting or modifications should be required, as the new gas cooktop is the same size as the previous one.

I have a free-standing gas cooktop / oven that was removed when the floors of my villa unit were sanded. I now need to have the unit re-installed and fitted off again. The unit is sitting just out in the courtyard and it requires being lifted in up 1 small step and then back into its original position. The kitchen is next to the back door. I have a new oven and induction cooktop to be installed. The old appliances have been removed so just new an Electrcian to connect the existing wiring to the new appliances. I work from home so can very flexible if you want to do this between other small jobs or if you are passing through the Nundah area to or from other jobs. The old cooktop died out of warranty. The new one needs an electrician to connect it. It's a Bosch cooktop and the house was entirely rewired 2 years ago so it should be straightforward.
