Experienced Data Cabler Needed – 4x Cat6A Ethernet Drops Looking for an experienced and properly equipped data cabler to install 4 Ethernet drops in a single-story house. All cables and wall plates are provided by me: * Panduit Cat6A cable * Shielded Cat6A keystone jacks * Clipsal style wall plates Scope of Work: Central Hub: Family Room (where all 4 cables start). Endpoints * 1 x drop to Lounge * 1 x drop to Entryway * 1 x drop to Bedroom 1 * 1 x drop to Bedroom 2 House Details: * Single-story home * Raised foundation with accessible underfloor space * Some roof cavity areas are tight, especially near the lounge external wall Preferred Installation Approach: I prefer to avoid removing roof tiles if possible. At the Family Room wall where all 4 cables originate, there appears to be a timber noggin/blocking inside the wall cavity. Since there will be 4 Cat6A cables together, I would prefer to minimize drilling through structural timber where practical. If possible, the preferred approach would be: * route cables down from a more accessible wall cavity first, * use the underfloor space for the main horizontal run, * then bring cables back up into the final wall locations. Hi, I need help finishing a home network setup at my house. The house is already wired with Cat6 LAN points. I have a rumpus/living area panel with 5 LAN ports, and I’ve identified that 4 of them connect to rooms in the house. There is also an NBN-labelled port, a garage LAN port, and a loose Cat6 cable near the old NBN/garage area that need to be identified and tested. Looking for someone experienced with data cabling/home networking to: * Identify and test the mystery Cat6 cable/garage/NBN link * Terminate loose Cat6 cable(s), likely T568A * Confirm which port goes where * Connect the incoming line to the rumpus distribution panel NBN FTTP is already active and working. I just need the internal LAN cabling finished properly so the room ports can be used. Should be a straightforward job for someone with the right tools/tester.

- I have 2 ubiquity access points with all the mounting hardware and need these mounted to the ceiling first - run the Ethernet / data cable from the router through the ceiling to these 2 access points mounted in living and the walkway - I do have a 10m Ethernet cable but if insufficient please get additional data cable to cover the distance - Single storey house and cement tiles on the roof ! - already I have the cameras installed so can use the same opening to run these data cables too ** I don’t need any help with configurations as such as I can do those myself.

I’m looking for an electrician or electronics technician with experience repairing small circuit boards. My Microsoft Sculpt Keyboard and Mouse USB dongle was damaged when my laptop fell and hit it. The dongle is still recognised by the computer, but the keyboard and mouse no longer connect. I believe it likely needs resoldering or minor circuit board repair.
