I have a 17 square meter wood deck. I want it sanded, cleaned and then stained over the course of a week. The deck is outdoors and needs thorough sanding and cleaning. I will buy all the materials needed for the job. You will have to provide the sander. The stain cannot be put during the day or under direct sunlight. Hi, I need to sand down and stain my decking. I tried to pressure hose it but have held it close in some spots which has created uneven patches in the wood, to make the decking colour even again will have to sand it first, then have it pressure hosed and stained. I have purchased the stain colour, tin says it takes two hours to dry before applying second coat. Full job is to sand decking first to make it all even, pressure hose again if needed and apply stain. Full size of decking is approx 3m x 4m.
