There is potential to increase the capacity of the robe both by using all available space and increasing the space by cutting a hole through the wall and making a storage area below the stairs into the robe extension as well as creating a small cellar.

Picture is the step to be replaced. 145cm by 32cm. Current step is 3cm thick. I believe current rails could be reused, depending on their condition after the current step is disassembled. The rails are a plank of 17.5cm by 3cm cut to about 72cm at the top and about 36cm at the bottom. - Due date: Flexible
