Internal Carpentry Works: Replace 5 internal door handles with privacy door locks ( standard single door size) Create 2 new internal door openings (standard single door size) and hang the doors in existing plaster walls. Remove and frame up 1 existing door opening ( standard single door size) Install double doors into an existing framed ,internal double door opening. Build new internal walls to: Divide one room into two rooms and two ensuite bathroom rooms. Include framing, insulation, plasterboard, skirting, 4 new door frames with associated doors, handles, and architraves. See attached plan where walls drawn in red are the new walls to be constructed. Install 8 door stops. Remove wardrobe shelving ( see image) External Carpentry Works: Convert an existing window opening ( approximately 2m wide into a sliding door opening ( approximately 2- 2.2m wide) and Install new sliding door. Build 2 external steps from the new sliding door opening. Remove 2 external window hoods/awnings. Replace 2 damaged palings. Plane bottom of front gate so it opens freely. Note- all existing framing timber with plaster walls ( tests have been done for asbestos and certificate can be provided to you)

Hardware Alignment: Drill 11 mm bolt holes matching specific offset dimensions (94 mm horizontal, 51 mm top vertical, 298 mm spacing) to align with existing tee nuts on both the main headboard and bedside tables. Finishing: Sand, fill, and stain/paint the extension panels to match the existing dark wood finish. Assembly & Installation: Securely join extension boxes to the main headboard, re-attach side tables, and ensure the entire assembly is level and mounted securely.

I have a solid timber bed frame that I’d like repaired so it can be used in a guest bedroom. The bed is approx. 20 years old and generally in good condition, but the side rails / connection points have failed. The timber around some of the old fixing points is damaged, and the existing metal brackets/rail connections may need to be replaced or reinforced. I’m looking for someone with carpentry or furniture repair experience to inspect and repair it properly. The job may involve: * replacing or reinforcing the side rail connection points; * installing new heavy-duty bed rail brackets or similar hardware; * filling/plugging damaged screw holes and re-drilling where required; * checking the slats and centre support; * making sure the bed is stable, safe and doesn’t wobble. Photos attached. Ideally looking for someone who can bring the right tools and advise if any replacement hardware is needed. Happy to pay for materials separately if required.

Scope of works: Remove and dispose of existing timber French doors and frames. Install 3 new double French door sets, including new frames. Ensure doors are level, square and operate smoothly. Fit existing/new hardware as required (can discuss). Finish with neat trims/architraves if required. Current opening: Approx. 1140mm (W) x 2100mm (H) Preferred new opening: Approx. 1300mm (W) x 2100mm (H), so the opening will need to be widened by around 160mm (subject to inspection and feasibility). Requirements: Licensed and experienced carpenter/chippy. Experience installing French doors. Happy to inspect and provide advice if any structural changes are required before quoting. Hi all, Looking for an experienced chippy to come on site to quote how much it would be for them to hang a 2.6m x 1.1m (150-200kg) range hood for my pizza resturaunt fitout. Structural drawings along with a form 15 has been completed. My budget is for call out fee so we can meet and you can quote. 👍 I’ll have it lifted into place for you, using hired lifts.
