We're looking for a skilled handyman to help install several outdoor roller blinds around our pergola. The space is 7m x 5m, and we've already purchased the blinds and joiners. Details: - Pergola is approx. 7m wide x 5m deep - Blinds to be installed on outside of both 7m sides and 5m sides Blinds are a mix of sizes: 2 x 1.7m 1 x 1.5m 1x 1.8m 2 x 1.8m 2 x 3m We also have joiner pieces (10cm wide) to connect blinds so will need small spaces between them for connection (I think!) I need 3 roller blinds that I bought from Bunnings installed in 2 bedrooms (2 in one and 1 in the other). They’re easy to install so I attempted to myself but found it hard due to no studs and possible brick behind plaster that I couldn’t drill into. I do have a diamond head that I could use and have used for tiles in the past but thought I’d get someone who knows what they’re doing to do it as I just don’t have the time to figure out. I have blinds and all the screws etc but you’ll need your own gear in case my drill isn’t enough.

The front room has timber venetian blinds on all windows. The largest of these has a fault, which means when I pull the string to angle the blinds (open / closed) nothing happens, and the blinds don't change their angle. There's a small plastic wheel or cog in the casing at the top of the blind which this string would normally spin, and it the wheel seems to have stripped its gears. We are loathe to replace the whole blind because of a faulty small plastic wheel mechanism. Does anyone know how to fix? - Due date: Flexible
