Install the skirting using adhesive and fixings. Ensure everything is level and neatly finished. Remove and dispose of any offcuts. I will complete the filling, caulking, sanding and painting myself, so I'm only looking for the skirting to be professionally installed. The room is empty and has easy access. Looking for someone who takes pride in quality workmanship, as this is a high-end cosmetic clinic.

Hi there, I need a local handyman to carefully remove one single piece of timber skirting board located inside my kitchen's refrigerator alcove. This is a rental property, so it is critical that the board is removed cleanly in one piece without cracking the wood or damaging the adjacent mitered corner joint and drywall, as I will need to reinstate it when I move out. What needs to be done: Score the painted edges/mitered corner joint to break the paint bond. Carefully pry the single skirting board panel off the wall inside the alcove. Pull or flatten any remaining brad nails on the wall so the surface is smooth. Leave the removed timber piece intact for me to store. Tools required: Please bring your own utility knife, pry bar/trim puller and drywall protection materials. Located in Maroubra. Flexible with time, but looking to get this sorted as soon as possible. The Issue: A section of the black vinyl skirting board at the base of our pre-test room wall has completely detached from the wall. It is bowing outwards into the walkway, creating a distinct trip hazard for our staff and patients. The Job: The task is to re-secure the skirting board flat against the wall.
