I’m looking for someone to seal the small gaps between the bottom of the skirting boards and timber flooring throughout the downstairs living area of my townhouse. The downstairs is an open-plan kitchen, dining and living area approximately 8.8m × 4.8m (floor plan and photos attached). The gaps are generally quite small but I’d like them sealed primarily for draught proofing/air sealing as the timber floors are cold. Job includes: * Clean/prep the gaps where required * Apply a neat, continuous bead of flexible sealant suitable for the junction between painted timber skirting and timber flooring * Seal around the accessible perimeter of the downstairs timber-floored area * Tool/finish the sealant neatly with minimal visible bead * Supply sealant and required materials * Clean up afterwards I’m looking for a clean, professional finish. Some water dropped from heating to sub floor, the subfloor has been treated, however, carpet has been pulled up and skirting board taken off due to some mould. Need carpet relaid (we have plenty spare) and skirting board replaced… likely a trip to Bunnings required. Not sure on costs, but will pay for any materials so assume budget range is for labour only. I have two bedrooms that I am getting floorboards put in. Have removed the existing skirting boards prior to the floor boards, Wanting someone to come in and install new skirting boards. My plan is to paint the boards after installation, so wanting a primed MDF It will be about 3 walls of each bedroom. Total linear metre about 20 metres. See plan I will pay for the skirting boards separately. Cost is for installation labour which includes the installation, filling in nail holes/mitre joint gaps etc, sand of filled areas. The wall is plasterboard i believe. The floor has been levelled so hoping the board will be flush to the floorboards, but if not will need to trim the bottom the board accordingly Hoping to have this done later in the week eg Wed/Thurs/Friday

Hello, We are looking for an experienced handyman/carpenter to repair water-damaged timber skirting board and the lower section of a timber door frame/jamb. The original water leak has already been repaired, so there is no ongoing water issue. As shown in the photos, there is some deterioration/rot and damage to the timber around the bottom of the door frame and adjacent skirting board. We are looking for someone to: • Assess the extent of the damaged timber • Remove any damaged/rotted sections as required • Repair or replace the affected timber/skirting • Ensure the repaired area is solid, neat and properly finished • Sand, fill and prepare the area for painting • Repaint the repaired sections so they blend in with the existing door frame/skirting We are after a quality, neat finish, as this is inside our home and we are preparing the property for sale. You will need to supply your own tools, including a drop saw/mitre saw, nail gun and standard carpentry tools.The job includes: Measure and cut 3 sections of 140mm primed MDF skirting board to fit. Install the skirting using adhesive and fixings. Ensure everything is level and neatly finished. Remove and dispose of any offcuts. I will complete the filling, caulking, sanding and painting myself, so I'm only looking for the skirting to be professionally installed. The room is empty and has easy access. Looking for someone who takes pride in quality workmanship, as this is a high-end cosmetic clinic.

I have taken off old moulding as new laminate floor going in and need need new skirting board supply and installed circa 30 loner meters, Skirting size height circa 66mm, possibly 92mm to cover imperfections in wall, 18mm wide. Need to be all mitred joints, painted, include fill gaps between top of skirting and wall.
