Title: Sand, stain and varnish staircase + two doors Looking for an experienced timber finisher to restore: * Staircase timberwork * Front door * Bathroom door Work includes touching up damaged timber, light sanding, colour-matching/staining and applying a protective varnish. The staircase should match the new timber column and look consistent throughout. I have already tested a Bunnings stain colour and varnish that worked well and can show the sample. This is a refresh, not a full strip-back. Stair treads/flooring are not included. Please include materials and share photos of similar timber-restoration work. Ready to proceed with the right person.

Apply 24m Frosted Privacy Static Cling Window Film to glass balustrade. Location is Circular Quay in Sydney. Access after 5pm. Must be completed before 9pm

We need the balustrades of our 3mx 4m deck painted white. We would supply paint we just need someone’s painting expertise.

Require two gaps in the balustrade to be connected with equivalent material and workmanship to the existing structure. The connecting pieces need to be able to fit correctly and smoothly within the gaps. It is not a straight line fit. If you are suitable for this job, please arrange a time to attend the property and look at the balustrade in person. Just Needs to pass certification

My railing is damaged and needs fixing

I am looking to replace my balcony timber as the current timber is getting rotten. The goal is to replace the existing timber balustrades with modern railing system and address the support posts holding up the roof line if required.

I need a timber stair balustrade removed carefully. The job includes: * Remove the entire timber balustrade (vertical posts and top rail) shown in the photos. * Remove fixings (screws/bolts/nails) where possible. * Minimise damage to the existing timber capping and surrounding walls. * Stack all removed timber neatly (or dispose of it if agreed). The balustrade is approximately 2–2.5 metres long. Important * I believe this is not structural, but please inspect before commencing. * If you believe it provides structural support, stop work and discuss before proceeding. * Care is more important than speed. * Please bring your own tools (multi-tool, pry bars, drill/impact driver, etc.). Balustrade is located more than 5m above ground level, so it must be installed and certified to AS 1288 / AS/NZS 1170 by a suitably qualified and licensed tradesperson. Materials on hand: • 15mm frameless standoff glass panels: 850W × 1280H ×6, and 750W × 1280H ×3 • Summit 30×21mm Nanorail Deluxe handrail 5800mm (satin) ×2 • Summit Nanorail Deluxe rigid glazing rubber 2900mm ×3 • Summit 30×21mm Nanorail Deluxe wall plate extended (satin) ×6 • Summit 30×21mm Nanorail Deluxe 90° joiner (satin) ×1 • Glass standoffs 38×25mm (satin, SS2205) ×48 Note: fixing rods are NOT supplied — please include any missing items in your quote. Scope: • Labour-only install of the above into the existing structure, glass 15mm toughened with Nanorail top rail fixed into structure • Confirm supplied standoffs and fixing details suit 15mm panels for a balustrade above 5m per AS 1288 before commencing • Flag anything missing or any recommended change to the fixing approach prior to install • Provide a Certificate of Compliance on completion from a licensed/qualified trade, expressly noting the balustrade is more than 5m above ground Requirements: • Appropriate trade licence and insurance — please state licence number • Quote labour only; advise availability and lead time Site: inner Sydney. Front of House Balustrade and back balcony Balustrade - total of Approx. 18 - 20m. Simple straight line balustrade (to be painted black). Need glass balustrade around the edge of the decking. Frameless glass, 900mm-1m high. Thanks guys

Our outdoor balustrade has had some rotting that has occurred in isolated areas - railing needs to be patched and glued / builders bog in a few spots. Painting not required.
