Swapped a new pair of aftermarket led headlights for my BMW X1 e84(2011). Because I kept getting faulty messages of "Dipped beam right". and sometimes "Dipped beam left" The new low beams are working perfectly and are very bright. But the error codes kept showing up and is really driving me crazy... I heard that the light module needs to be recoded for the error messages/faulty codes to disappear, especially with aftermarket headlights. I do not have the tools and knowledge to do this.
