Hi, I need a mobile mechanic in Fitzroy to replace the engine mounts and the starter motor on a 2006 Honda Civic 1.8L Automatic.The top right-hand side (RHS) hydraulic mount has completely collapsed and the lower rear torque mount is snapped, which has caused the engine block to drop down significantly out of alignment.I have all the parts physically here with me today:A brand new 4-piece engine mount kitA brand new OEX Starter Motor (DXS599) ready to goImportant Notes for the Job:You must bring a trolley jack and wood blocks to carefully raise the sagging engine block back up into its correct structural alignment before removing the old mounts and bolting on the new ones.Because the engine block has dropped, access to the starter motor area is tight. The mounts and the starter will need to be swapped during the same session while you have the block supported.

2005 Toyota Camry won't start after key was turned while engine was already running. There is a single clicking sound when trying to start. Battery jump start didn't fix it. Need a mobile mechanic to inspect and potentially replace the starter motor at my location.⁠

2013 VW Amarok 2.0 bi-turbo with 220k km on the clock. Car has EGR delete and tune. Coolant reservoir is pressuring. This was checked by electronically bringing the engine to high boost which saw bubbles in the tank. No obvious milky oil in cap or dipstick but coolant level has dropped. Possibly gasket or head ? Engine code is CSHA. Timing belt and water pump done at about 172 k km. Please send offer to discuss.

Need punctured tyre repaired

I broke a sparkplug ceramic whilst changing it. Could you help me extract the ceramic pieces from the sparkplug well so they don't fall into the cylinder? Looking for someone that has done this before and knows a method that can guarantee successful extraction of all the pieces, as I think I'm screwed if they any fall into the cylinder. Ideally maybe if you have a mobile shop vac and we attach a tube?

2018 ktm350sxf just done top end rebuild, problem is when it’s idling and you blip the throttle it stalls and backfires through the airbox, it is throwing a fault code on the fl light apparently it’s the TPS sensor referring back to the manual, just after someone who has a obd scanner and knowledge to diagnose and fix issue

Need experienced mechanic service 2 cars – must follow exact oil change method. Oil and filters Supplied Description: Looking for someone to do an oil and filter service on 2 cars. This is not just a normal quick oil change. I want the job done exactly to a specific method step by step, so I need someone who is careful, patient, mechanically minded, and happy to follow instructions properly. Please only apply if you’re confident doing the below exactly as requested: Required oil change procedure: 1. Start with the engine completely cold. 2. Add about 1 litre / 1 quart of fresh oil to the existing oil as a pre-flush. 3. Start engine and let it idle for exactly 5 minutes. 4. Turn engine off and wait 10 minutes. 5. Then drive the car 10–15 minutes to full operating temperature. 6. Park on level ground, let it idle 2 more minutes, then drain the oil immediately while hot. 7. After the first drain, leave it for 30 minutes, then remove the drain plug again and do a second drain. 8. Fit new oil filter, but pre-fill the filter to about 60–70% with fresh oil first. 9. Apply a thin film of oil to the rubber gasket and hand tighten only. 10. Refill engine slowly with about 80% of oil capacity first. 11. Wait 5 minutes, then top up slowly in small amounts, checking the dipstick each time. 12. Final oil level should be around halfway between low and full, not overfilled. 13. After refilling, do not start the engine straight away. 14. Turn ignition on without starting, wait 10 seconds, then turn it off. 15. Repeat that 3 times. 16. Then start engine and let it idle for exactly 3 minutes without touching the accelerator. 17. Check for oil leaks around drain plug and filter. 18. Turn engine off, wait 2 minutes, then re-check oil level and top up if needed. Must Have • has experience servicing cars, or is very mechanically capable • has their own tools • works cleanly and carefully • is happy to follow this exact process, not their usual rushed method
