I have an electric wheelchair hoist in the boot of my car, consisting of a vertical folding post which is bolted to the floor of the boot, and a horizontal arm from the top. It folds up and down. There is a cable running from the fitting around the boot and somewhere joining onto the car's electrical system. I'd like to have the whole thing removed, without damage to the car or the hoist.

I tried changing my MacBook pros battery myself. I think I broke the battery flex cable connector, so I purchased some extras, but the new battery does not seem to boot up with my MacBook Pro. It turns on, has the Apple sign, loads about 2cm, then shuts down, in a loop. This is the second battery I’ve tried and it doesn’t seem to work. I tried connecting the old battery, it just stays in the low battery mode sign no matter how long I charge it. The case has already been removed, just need a battery in there that works.

I need an auto electrician to diagnose a fault in my Dodge Journey 2013. The car battery is completely dead. A jump start gets the engine running for about 30 seconds and then the car is completely dead. The NRMA mechanic said it MIGHT be the alternator but he wasn't sure.

Tem was really helpful! Mercedes can be very tricky and particular. I had previously little success in diagnosing and resolving the problem with my vehicle, which wasn't a straight forward task. Tem was able to identify and resolve the issue with minimum hassle - which I couldn't achieve with my normal mechanic
