I am looking for an experienced and reliable tradie to upgrade my existing L-shaped kitchen. Please review the attached photos before offer. Existing kitchen: • Existing benchtop height is approx. 825 mm. Target finished height is approx. 900 mm. • Existing stone benchtop and the sink will be retained and reinstalled. electric cooktop needs to be changed to a gas cooktop. (New gas cooktop will be provided to you) • Dishwasher needs to be incorporated into the existing kitchen. Scope of work: Disconnect the electric cooktop, sink, plumbing and relevant services. Gas/electrical work must be done by licensed trades. Carefully remove and safely store the existing stone benchtop for reinstallation. Completely remove the existing drawers and single door cabinet shown in the photo to create the dishwasher space. Modify the adjacent existing drawer/cabinet section as required and reinstall it, including necessary panels, fillers, supports and trims for a neat finish. Supply and install suitable structural support/packing/edge strip/spacer to raise the benchtop from approx. 825 mm to approx. 900 mm and provide correct dishwasher clearance. Exact dimensions/method to be confirmed on site. Supply and install all required dishwasher plumbing fittings, water supply and waste connection, and test for leaks. Provide a suitable power point in the sink cabinet for the dishwasher. Conceal/chase cable where required and make good. Electrical work by a licensed electrician. Reinstall existing stone benchtop securely and level, including existing sink and gas cooktop. Reconnect and test plumbing, drainage and gas. Supply and construct a new island bench, approx. 2400 mm × 700 mm, including required cabinetry/supports, panels, benchtop and finishing components. Final materials/finish to be agreed before work starts. Level, secure, and professionally finish all work. Remove construction waste/rubbish generated by the job.
