Gas stove one burner not working might need to change thermocouple/ replace the faulty valve.

I have two stove top burners (on the left) that will not stay alight on my Smeg freestanding oven. Also, when 2+ burners are on at the same time, the flames are weak. I’ve already had a technician come out to quote the job, so I already know what is required to be fixed. Gas pipe needs to be replaced because it is dented and reducing gas flow. Can I please be quoted for the below: 1. THERMOCOUPLE WOK BURNER [Front Left] 2. THERMOCOUPLE [Rear Left Burner] 3. GAS DISTRIBUTOR PIPE ASSEMBLY 4. Cost of labour I’ve been advised that the replacement of the thermocouple may not fix the problem, and if that’s the case, the wiring underneath the stove top may need to be replaced for those two burners. Renovating a kitchen. Require gas stove disconnection, as well as water supply under sink so as cabinets can be removed.

Cabinetry adjustment above gas stove – make compliant I need a cabinetmaker/handyman to modify the existing overhead cabinetry above a freestanding gas stove in a Richmond apartment. The current cupboard/extraction fan enclosure sits too low and protrudes over the cooktop. I need the cabinetry altered so there is sufficient clearance above the gas cooktop and the area can meet the applicable installation/compliance requirements. Work would likely involve: * Cutting back, shortening or reconfiguring the cupboard directly above the stove. * Adjusting/removing the lower section that currently protrudes over the cooktop. * Making good the cabinetry after alteration so it looks neat and finished. * Coordinating the finished dimensions with the required clearance for the gas cooktop/rangehood. Cabinet: any combustible cabinet surface directly above the gas cooktop should ideally be 650 mm or more above the top of the gas trivet. If it is lower than 650 mm, it needs compliant protection; nothing can be below 450 mm. an Photos attached showing the existing setup. Please quote for labour and materials and advise how you would modify it. Ideally looking for someone experienced with kitchen cabinetry and gas cooktop/rangehood clearance requirements.

The main (biggest) gas stove burner does not light up until numerous attempts. Seems to an issue with the ceramic plug as its wobbly.

Oven, stove top and rangehood need to replace with new one, needs new 30amp connection for both oven and stove. The old gas connection needs to be blocked. Bench top needs a small cut to fit new stove. House is double storey. I think I mentioned all details.

I am abolishing the gas connection at my property and need to disconnect the existing freestanding gas oven and stove cook top prior. The gas abolishment is booked for Thurs 27/8, would be ideal to do it tonight Tues 25/6 or Wed 26/6

The kitchen cupboard next to the stovetop smells like gas (the gas piping runs through this cupboard). It's unknown where the gas is leaking from. It's been turned off at the mains for now. We need someone to inspect it, find out whether the gas leak is, and repair it. Licensed gasfitters only.

Hi we have someone coming tomorrow morning to re-paint the benches around the kitchen sink and stove so we just need someone to remove both the sink and stove to make it easier for them to paint. We would then love to pay you for (a separate job) to come back few days later to put them back/re-install once finished . Has to be done before painting starts at 9AM tomorrow Monday.

The knobs on my Technika gas stove get stuck and occasionally don't turn. Needs to be repaired and all 4 knobs need to be replaced. I do not have replacement knobs so, happy to pay additional cost replacement knobs. Stove top has not been serviced or repaired since I moved into this property in 2019. *6/7/26 - Update: 4 knobs now do not turn at all. Even removing the plastic knob cover, the metal rod (?) underneath also doesn't turn when using a wrench. It appears to be an issue with the cook top itself. I have broken one of the plastic knobs trying to turn it, so ideally want to replace all 4 now.

Caulking around kitchen benchtop. White around the edge, clear around the sink and gas cooktop. Fairly flexible with date/time. Anytime after this weekend and before July 2 or so.
