Looking for some help with my kitchen range hood. It was working perfectly fine initially, but now the fan won’t spin. I can hear a distinct humming sound when I turn it on, but there’s no air movement. I’ve done a bit of research and suspect it might be a failed capacitor or perhaps just grease and junk buildup causing a jam. I tried to investigate myself, but I couldn't manage to remove the motor housing, so I definitely need your expertise to get into the unit safely. Could you please let me know: If you can come by for an initial inspection? What your standard inspection/call-out fee is? If it turns out to be the capacitor or a simple cleaning, what a rough total cost might look like?
