Replacing my current ~53–54 cm freestanding oven/cooker with a 60 cm model. Need the left benchtop and its base cabinets moved left and the benchtop trimmed so there’s a 600 mm clear gap for the new cooker. Location: Nunawading What needs to be done 1. Remove base cabinets on the left side of the current freestanding oven. 2. Remove the left section of benchtop above those cabinets. 3. Reposition that benchtop further left along the wall (towards the door frame) to create space for the 60 cm cooker. 4. Reinstall base cabinets under the benchtop, starting from the new left edge. 5. Cut the benchtop at the end near the cooker so that, once reinstalled, there is a 600 mm gap between: • right edge of left benchtop, and • left edge of right benchtop (where the new 60 cm freestanding oven will sit). 6. Apply silicone sealant along the top edge of the benchtop where it meets the splashback. Assumptions / exclusions • Carpentry/benchtop and cabinet work only. • No plumbing or electrical work. • Freestanding oven will be disconnected/moved by me (or via a separate task); tasker doesn’t need to handle the appliance unless agreed. • Existing cabinets and benchtop are reused, not replaced • Small adjustments to align doors/drawers after reinstallation included. • Clean‑up of offcuts and reasonable job‑site tidy expected. Looking for quotes from a licensed gas plumber/gasfitter. Job is to disconnect an existing 90cm freestanding gas cooker and install a replacement 90cm freestanding cooker, yet to be purchased. Current cooker appears to be gas. Replacement will likely have a gas cooktop and possibly an electric oven, so I need advice on whether an electrician is also required. IlVE Oven globes blown, was replaced but still not working. Used voltage tester on metal contacts, showing no power. Oven, timer all has power except globes. Might be blown wire, board etc

Smeg oven not heating up and fan is inconsistent!

Electrician needing help to remove and install 90cm oven. Just need a second helping hand for about 20 - 30 minutes. Potentially if you like can come to. Second job doing the same thing around 10am - 2pm time to be finalised on the day For tomorrow 30 July only

We have an existing built-in oven beneath our stove that is no longer working. We’d like to have it replaced with a new one we’ve already purchased — same dimensions as the existing unit. We need help removing the old oven and fitting the new one in its place. Photos of both ovens are attached: the white oven is the existing (faulty) unit, and the stainless steel oven is the new replacement.

The bottom element of my ILVE oven needs replacing. I had a guy diagnose last year but he never followed through with the quote to repair. Guidance required on cost.

The oven is working perfectly fine in bake mode but as soon as it's on grill it trips the power board.

The metal valve stem has become “dislodged”. This is the part directly under one of the control knobs of my smeg gas oven. As a result that particular hob doesn’t ignite and can’t be used.
