I purchased a microwave oven to fit in my cupboard the measurements specified appear to fit the cupboard but unfortunately didn’t if the top part of the middle frame can be cut shorter which can be easily removed. This will allow it to fit snug. I need someone who has the right tools to cut the top bit slightly in a very straight line and precise so that it may sit flush.

I’ve purchased a new Baumatic built-in microwave to replace an existing built-in microwave of the same brand: https://www.bunnings.com.au/baumatic-built-in-stainless-steel-microwave-28-litre-900w-bam28tk-2-stainless-steel-built-in-900-w_p1020031 The new microwave is almost the same size and the front panel/trim fits the existing space, but the cabinet opening is just slightly too low. As shown in the photo, the microwave can slide most of the way in, but the metal ventilation/duct section on top catches on the upper edge of the cabinet. It appears to be only a few millimetres short. I’m looking for an experienced handyman/cabinet maker to: * Check the fit and installation requirements and make any necessary adjustments/trimming to the cabinetry so the microwave can be properly installed and secured * Make sure the ventilation is not obstructed and the finished installation looks neat * Suggest an alternative solution if there is a better way to make it fit without modifying the cabinetry Please let me know if you’ve done similar built-in appliance installations before and what you would recommend.

Miele Microwave Inbuilt - causes tripping on use

My microwave has started sparking/arcing from the heating element/bracket area at the top of the cooking cavity. There is visible scorching/burn/arc marking around the bracket/screw, suggesting this may have been happening repeatedly. Looking for an experienced Miele approved/authorised appliance technician to diagnose and repair the microwave function on the H 6400 BM combination oven/microwave. The conventional oven is working normally - all heating functions and elements heat correct. However, the microwave fuinction is not heating at all. When tested of Microwave Solo at 1000W, the appliance operates normally (fan/ noises . light and countdown all works) but a cup of water remains completely cold. This appears to indicate a fault withint he microwave generation / high voltage circut and most likely is the magnetron failure or high voltage power supply / component supplying the magnetron. I am looking for someone who is properly qualified and experienced with Miele combination microwave ovens, ideally Miele authorised approved who can diagnose the specific failed compoenent and repair / replace it rather than simply recommenting replacment of the whole appliance. Sharp convection inverter not cooking properly /temp not working properly

National/Panasonic NN-C988W microwave oven approximately 26 years old. Completely dead no display or lights. Pl check the mains/input fuse, thermal protector and control board power supply first. Major components not to be replaced without giving me a repair estimate first.

We are having some modifications done in our Kitchen to install a small cutlery drawer above our microwave oven (as a separate Airtasker Task). However, for that task to go ahead, we need to ensure the Power Point to our Microwave Oven does not clash with the new drawer to be installed. The current Power Point is in the top left hand corner of the enclosure, we require it to be moved downwards by about 100 to 150mm. I think the Power Outlet is surface mounted to the back of the enclosure, and from what I can tell, the power cable comes into it from the cabinet wall on the left hand side, which is the sink enclosure.

Hello, We are looking to have a small utensil drawer installed in our kitchen in Meadowbank (Ryde area). The drawer would sit directly above our small microwave oven, inside the current microwave enclosure. The new drawer cutlery drawer would be done in the style to match the existing drawers. As part of the job, the facia around the microwave oven enclosure would need to be removed as it clashes. Additionally, the power point inside the microwave enclosure, may need to be moved downwards by about 150mm. I have supplied photos, and a concept sketch of the proposed cutlery drawer. We would like to have someone come out and visit us on site, and measure and quote for the design. We are looking to have the job done in the next few months.
