Westinghouse GHR95S cooktop valve is very loose and the knob can at times spin freely without engaging the valve, which they the knob is in the off position but the gas is still on! Internals needs fixing the knob itself appears fine/ intact. Note: A gas valve replacement for this model is a genuine spare part (BigWarehouse Spares lists the full GHR95S parts catalogue)

I’ve attached a photo of my Westinghouse stove. My wife have switched off the electric starter as when she switches it on the igniter automatically clicks until she turns it off. For now she’s just using a bbq lighter to ignite it. Gas is still flowing as normal when depressing knob. The unit about 10 years old.

Take out a 86cm x 51cm simpson 4 burner stove and replace it with a devanti 86cm x 51cm 5 burner stove. I can dispose the old stove. Fitting can be almost anytime. I plan to buy the stove at Myers tomorrow.
