Hi, My gas cooktop is having an issue where the burners ignite, but the flame does not stay on after I release the knob. This is happening on all burners (not just one), and it’s intermittent — sometimes it works normally, but most of the time the flame goes out when I release the control. I’m looking for a handyman to help fix my Smeg gas cooktop. The main (largest) burner has the following issues: 1. It’s very hard to ignite – often there is a clicking sound but no flame, and sometimes I have to use a lighter to get it started. 2. Even when it does light, the flame is very weak, much smaller than the other smaller burners. 3. The other burners are working normally, so the problem seems to be only with the main burner. The igniter does not work for the main burner of a whirlpool gas cooktop. I have to use a lighter to get the burner to work. Need replace the igniter for sure to get the burner back to work.
