Preparing the installation site
The moment you plan to install a new dryer, it’s important that your installation site is ready. Your Tasker will ensure all the connections and, depending on the type of dryer, the proper exhausts or vents should be ready and safe to use. Should there be any issues with vents, exhausts or electrical systems before your installation, you may need to get a handyman to have these checked.
Preparing your new dryer
Dryer installation technicians could also help you unbox your dryer if needed and check if there are any defects or damages if you’re not familiar. They can also help you check if everything supposed to be in the box is all accounted for. If you have an existing dryer, you could also ask them to disconnect and tear it out for you if they can. We need help installing a new dryer onto our wall and connecting it to the vent which is a different sized hole to the one on the dryer (hole is approx 150mm and the dryer is approx 95mm). Hole in the wall was installed prior to us moving in so may have been for a old model dryer. This was delivered and the installation team were not able to fit this to the wall due to the size of the hole not being the right size and sticking out of the wall. Would require fitting to the wall, brackets provided and a fitting of the vent to the hole. Dryer model can be flipped upside down so picture shows it the wrong way up for the wall. Any questions please ask. We're flexible with dates and times. But looking for someone with experience and knowledge in this type of job. Thanks
