I currently have a gas cooktop. I have purchased a 900mm induction cooktop - I would like to get this hooked up. The job is - - Install breaker in switchboard - Run necessarily cabling thru Ground level to L2 of house - Install switch in kitchen as required - Connect the cooktop. The benchtop hole is already cut to the correct size, the old cooktop has already been removed. The property is a 3 storey townhouse, with switchboard in the garage on ground floor, and kitchen on L2. There should be a space to run cabling relatively simply as there is a stormwater pipe running all the way down inside wardrobes of two rooms. Cutting holes in plaster is fine, I will repair this later myself. The cooktop is V-Zug GK56TIMSZO Happy if you provide a fixed total cost, or a materials + hourly rate for labour. Gas Cooktop to be installed onto existing kitchen. Behind the gas cooktop is tempered glass. Issue is that the distance between the back of the hob and the splashback may not be sufficient to be installed as is.
