I have two Bosch gas cooktops, both having a wok ignition head in fault. The first one is Bosch PCR9A5B90A/01. It sparks well but the old ignition head ceramic has cracked. The second one is Bosch PCR915B91A/40. The centre wok burner has no ignition spark, while the other four burners spark normally. I already got both the replacement parts from the official store. Need a gas-fitter to put the new ones on.

The elbow for my gas connector of gas cooktop has a crack and need to be replaced. Please do the following: - Pick up materials from supplier • Isolate gas • Disconnect and remove existing oven to gain access to the gas cooktop connection • Disconnect and remove existing gas cooktop flexible connection • Disconnect and remove the cap from the cooktop gas supply line • Supply and install a new gas male/female elbow to the cooktop gas connection • Reconnect the existing gas cooktop flexible connection • Reinstate the gas supply and test all connections for leaks to ensure safe operation • Reinstall the existing oven • Test works

Hi everyone, I am looking for a licensed plumber or gas fitter to permanently disconnect and cap the gas line to my broken cooktop so I can safely have an electric induction unit installed later. My current setup is a standard 60cm gas cooktop sitting directly above a Westinghouse electric wall oven. The gas is currently turned off at the main valve and the benchtop is laminate. I need you to safely disconnect the broken gas cooktop and permanently cap the gas pipe behind the oven. You will also need to test the line to ensure there are absolutely no leaks and issue a VBA Gas Compliance Certificate, which is mandatory for me to proceed with the electrical stage. Please leave the decommissioned cooktop sitting in the benchtop cutout once disconnected. My electrician will remove and dispose of it later to ensure dust and debris do not fall into the exposed oven casing in the meantime. You do not need to do any physical removal or electrical work.
