I manually added some water into the detergent compartment to help dissolve washing powder that was stuck there. The gas should be fairly easy to install, there is an elbow in the gas pipes under the house approximately 5 metres away, if that can be converted to a T junction, it's a straight shot to the fireplace with ample space under the house to manoeuvre. The ducting componants haven't been purchased as we would require your input on which components are appropriate, but the ducting needs to go up a little then exit through an exterior wall rather then the roof, the ducting will exit above our carport and is easy to access with a ladder ( we can provide the ladder if needed).
