Looking for someone to install 5 internal doors at my house in Daisy Hill. Doors have already been purchased. Need them trimmed/fitted and hung, including installation of hinges and door handles/latches. Existing door jambs are already in place. Looking for someone experienced with hanging doors who can get all 5 fitted and closing properly. Avalible monday tuesday wednesday

I’ve recently had a panel lift/sectional garage door retrofitted to my garage in Carindale. Because the garage wasn’t originally set up for this type of door, there weren’t suitable fixing points in the ceiling where the installer needed to attach the overhead tracks/brackets. The garage door company is coming back to rectify the installation, but before they return I’d like suitable structural fixing points installed above the ceiling. There is good access to the roof/ceiling space via a manhole, with plenty of room to work. I’m looking for an experienced carpenter/framer who can assess the existing roof/ceiling framing and install appropriate timber blocking/noggins or other suitable structural framing at the required locations, so the garage door installer has solid fixing points for their brackets. I can provide photos and indicate where the garage door brackets/fixing points need to be located. Location: Carindale, QLD Timing: Ideally completed before the garage door company returns. Please bring the appropriate timber, fixings and tools. When responding, please let me know if you have experience with roof/ceiling framing or preparing fixing points for garage doors.

Old 1980s one-piece tilt garage door with strong extension springs/jamb fittings. I’m removing the door myself for renovations. I only need someone experienced with old tilt garage doors to safely de-tension and remove both counterbalance springs and confirm there is no remaining spring load. I have the new door, hinges and Gainsborough Neue Angular door handle. Cut to size and install the provided Delaco panels on the inside of carport / garage to partially enclose. Tasker to provide own tools, black head screws and wooden buttons to fix to. Panels are already purchased but will need to be cut to size. 6 packs of panels - total horizontal coverage 2.4m. Ceiling approx 2.5m high - panels are 2.9m
