I am looking for an experienced carpenter or handyman to help replace my front entrance door. Project Details: • Door Model: Hume Savoy XS24 Frost Glass (2040 x 820 x 40mm). • Dimensions: My existing door is the same width, but the new door is 2cm taller. The door or the opening will need adjustment to accommodate the new 2040mm height. • Pick-up Required: Please pick up the door from Bunnings (I will prepay for the order). Scope of Work: 1. Hanging: Install the new door using 4 heavy-duty hinges (you supply) to ensure long-term stability due to the weight of the glass. 2. Lock Installation: Install a new lock (I will provide). A new strike plate must be intalled into the frame, as the existing strike plate position is too high for the new setup. 3. Space for Handle : I intend to install a 600mm pull handle above the lock later, so please ensure the lock placement leaves sufficient vertical space. 4. Exclusions: No painting or weather seal installation is required. Timing: The installation must be completed on or before 29 March, preferably as close to that date as possible. Please provide a quote for the labor and hinge

The sliding glass door has become heavier and heavier until it is nearly impossible to slide open and shut. Makes a grating sound when moving, like sand in the doorway. Don't know what's wrong or how to fix.

Both bathroom sliding cavity doors require mending, I would say they’re old.

My wooden sliding door needs the track and wheels repaired or replaced , and maybe the handle too. It’s become hard to move. Also I want it to seal properly when it’s closed on the right side. Also the glass in the door will later be replaced with a double glazed unit so the door will become heavier.
