I need a mobile mechanic to come directly to my driveway in Mesa today (Saturday) to diagnose and fix a brand-new Baodiao 50cc scooter (Model: BD50QT-2A with a 4-stroke GY6 engine). Here are the exact facts: I took the scooter out for its very first test ride on Tuesday, and it ran perfectly fine with zero issues. It sat for two days, and now it completely refuses to fire or stay running. What it is doing: The battery is fully charged, the dashboard lights up bright, and the electric starter motor is cranking. However, the motor will not catch, sputter, or turn over into an idle. What has already been done: The engine oil is fresh. The fuel tank is full, and fuel is verified to be flowing through the inline filter. Because it wouldn't start, I completely replaced the stock carburetor with a brand-new Glixal carburetor, and the throttle cable linkage is moving perfectly. I do not have the diagnostic tools or specialized wrenches on hand to test for electrical spark or check the engine circuits. I need a professional to come out to my driveway with their own tools today to troubleshoot exactly why it's cranking but not firing, and get it running.
