I have a SureFlap cat flap that I want to install in a ~1.8in thick wooden door. Tools required: - Jigsaw: the door needs to have the necessary shape cut out of it. - Drill with a 6mm (1/4”) diameter bit: 2 holes need to be drilled on both sides of the cut shape. I can install the cat flap myself but I do need the shape to be cut and the holes drilled into the door first. There's an extra difficulty in the fact that the catflap will have to stand at the awkward height where the door has a different level of intrusion/extrusion. See the provided picture, which is inaccurate, but gives a rough idea of which parts will need to be entirely cut (yellowish) versus the part that only needs the extrusion to be cut (orange) so that it ends up being leveled with the panels above it.
