Spec as below: Alarms Spec: A system complying fully with BS 5839: Parts 1 and 6 (latest editions) for a Grade D system, with LD3 coverage as follows: - Interlinked, mains-wired smoke alarms with integral battery back-up located in the escape route at each floor level - Additional interlinked heat alarm with integral battery back-up located in the kitchen - Additional interlinked smoke alarm with integral battery back-up located in any communal lounge On Completion: The installer is to provide a certificate of installation and commissioning and log book to the user in accordance with BS 5839 : Part 6. latest edition A copy of the certificate of installation and commissioning is required.

Need a replacement of a smoke alarm. The tradesmen needs also to obtain the right device to fit. The current one is a ionization smoke alarm with mains power and a replaceable battery back up, Grade D2.

Our smoke alarm needs fitting into the ceiling - needs to be drilled. Stepladder would be necessary. We also need a couple of door handles drilled into the doors again because the screws have come out of the original place because the inside is crumbly. We also have one set of blinds that don't go up, they only roll down. So need that fixed too if possible.
