Find local smoke alarm installers in London

I would like to install a Nest Protect wired smoke alarm in my kitchen. I have removed an old smoke alarm in the kitchen (wiring shown in pics), so it can be installed in the same place.

Hi, I need an electrician to help install a heat alarm in my kitchen and a smoke alarm in my hallway. The alarms must be wired to main electrical supply and I need a Part P certificate to submit to my freeholder after the installation. Please be in touch if you can do it.

We need two roller blinds to be fitted. One to our front window and one to our back door. The blind may need trimming to size We also require a smoke alarm to be fitted to the ceiling. This will just need two small holes to be drilled

We just need to have our smoke alarm replaced in our hallway that has broken and then a heat alarm installed in our kitchen too. We would also need help with a few other handy decor tasks around the house (i.e. toilet roll holder install and curtain rod installs/blinds install)

Change the battery in a smoke alarm

Smoke alarm battery needs changing. It’s on a high landing ceiling 3.3 metres tall and I don’t have a tall enough ladder. You will need to bring a long ladder, use a flat headed screwdriver (which I will provide) to remove the alarm from the ceiling, replace the battery (which I will provide) and then refit the alarm into place.

I spoke to Ross W about this job . It then expired. Task: Supply and install 3 x mains powered smoke alarms and 1 x mains powered heat alarm. All interconnected via radio. Spec as below: Alarms Spec: A system complying fully with BS 5839: Parts 1 and 6 (latest editions) for a Grade D system, with LD3 coverage as follows: - Interlinked, mains-wired smoke alarms with integral battery back-up located in the escape route at each floor level - Additional interlinked heat alarm with integral battery back-up located in the kitchen - Additional interlinked smoke alarm with integral battery back-up located in any communal lounge On Completion: The installer is to provide a certificate of installation and commissioning and log book to the user in accordance with BS 5839 : Part 6. latest edition A copy of the certificate of installation and commissioning is required.
