Hi, I'm looking for someone to fit a new keyed door handle/lock that I've already purchased onto an internal bedroom door in my house in Stevenage. I've already removed the old handle and latch. The new Probrico lock has been trial-fitted and is very close to fitting. It appears it may just need a minor adjustment so the latch sits fully flush, followed by fitting and aligning the supplied strike plate. The new lock, latch, strike plate and all fixings are supplied. The job is to: • Fit the supplied lock. • Make any minor adjustments required for the latch to fit correctly. • Fit and align the supplied strike plate. • Check the handle, latch and key all operate smoothly. The door is an FD30 fire door, so I'd like any alterations to be kept to the minimum necessary. From trial fitting, it appears to be a straightforward installation with only a minor adjustment needed for the latch. Please let me know your fixed price and earliest availability.
