I require the following jobs done at a terrace house in Peckham Rye: 1. Front door: replace the existing main door dead/mortice lock with a lock that can be opened from the inside without use of a key, i.e. thumb turn. Ideally, please provide 1 key per tenant, plus 1 spare for the agent = total of 5 keys. If you cannot do this, please let me know how many keys you can provide and I will arrange with the tenants to organise additional copies. 2. Bedrooms: neatly fill all bedroom door keyholes with a solid filler to ensure that the locks are rendered permanently inoperable. There are 3 bedrooms but I don't recall if they all have keyholes, there might just be two. 3. Bathrooms: remove the latches on the upstairs and downstairs bathroom doors and add a privacy lock which can be operated by thumb-turn mechanism alone. There are 2 bathrooms with one door each. I have photos of some but not all the doors in question (apologies for the poor quality one, this is a screenshot from a video I took of the middle bedroom). My front door isn’t locking. I need someone to come and look at the lock and fix it

when the outside temperature reaches 27 degrees Celsius and or goes higher, the locking mechanism of the front door doesn't work properly and i am forced to squeeze the door shut as much as possible to close it from the inside. From the outside i cant close it, it doesn't lock. this appears to happen in hot weather alot so one person has to remain in the house to lock it from the inside. im not sure what is the reason it does this, at the moment the lock is working fine, because temperature is below 27 degrees, but we need a long term solution, so it needs to be fixed. im not sure how much the budget is to work on a door, please give realistic quotes.

I have two dremels where I think I have over tightened the bit too much. When I depress the lock button, and try and loosen with the wrench, the button pops back out. I can’t remove the bit in either dremel. I can drop off the pieces anywhere in east London if easiest.

Hello, I need help fixing my front door locks. the latch sticks open alot and needs the key to close it again. there is a bolt as well that uses the same key (they are keyed alike) and sometimes it slips and doesn't move.

Repair/replacement of uPVC patio door multi-point locking mechanism. Yale-branded internal lever handle with key-operated cylinder. Key will no longer turn in the lock. Door has multi-point locking bolts along the edge. External side has no key cylinder.

When holding the handle upwards to lock the front door the handle stays in the upward position and no longer drops back into it's normal position as it always had done (only when taking pics the handle WAS going back to its normal position so i don't have a photo of that for you to see). Plus i can tell that something isn't right with it as it actually feels different as though something isn't right with it's workings inside. In the pic iv attached i have circled where the bracket part that gets screwed to the door frame have moved/become loose because your able to see a small gap. Apologies if the description is hard to understand..

We have two bathroom privacy locks which do not work properly (they were installed by a previous tasker). They do not lock properly and at least one of the doors swings open, because there is no latch, meaning the door is in the way of the corridor.
